How do you deal with pests?

"Extermination"

The three ways homeowners deal with pests – What about you?

There are three types of homeowners when it comes to pest control.

  1. The first is the type that opts for an offensive strategy by launching a proactive preventive campaign.
  2. The second type of homeowner is the one that sees an infestation…and eventually calls a pest control company.
  3. The third type is the one that just hopes it goes away on its own.

Clearly the preventive campaign will work the best because, if you can prevent the pests from entering your home in the first place, it’s a lot easier than finding and rooting them out once they are in.

What about the costs?

Additionally, from the economical point of view, the preventive strategy will probably cost you less in the long run. This is especially true if you get a severe infestation and the costs that can bring. Just as well, it might add a few months to your life span by lowering your stress level and preventing the diseases some of these pests can carry.

Now that spring is here, temperatures will be going up and lots of insects and other potential pests will emerge looking for some family to pester.

So, for those forward-looking homeowners in the preventive camp, now is the time to start reviewing areas that need attention and consulting a reliable pest control company to visit and assist with what needs to be done.
